The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to publicize the upcoming bout.
Ex two-time world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the novice remains one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As both boxers met for the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly happening.
